Three Kings Travel and Tours - A hellish experience even for budget travelling

Short version:

We bought vouchers from Ensogo for a 3D2N Boracay package with round-trip tickets and accommodation sold by Three Kings Travel and Tours. We had to badger them for weeks with calls because they never updated us promptly. They lied repeatedly about sending updates. They unprofessionally rejected our calls and even threatened us via text. They sent us our plane tickets at the very last minute. AND they did not give us what we paid for. 

Three Kings Travel and Tours are unprofessional and incompetent. They are liars and thieves.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS. Do your loved ones a favor and WARN THEM ABOUT THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS.

Long version,with pics!

February 2013. Ensogo sent me an email as usual about their newest deals. One particular deal caught my eye: a 3D2N all-in Boracay package for P6,000:



Round-trip tickets, round-trip transfers, accommodation, daily breakfast, and 1 dinner buffet for P6,000? Crazy cheap!

After consultation with friends, I bought the vouchers. After another round of discussions, we set the date for the election weekend, May 11 to 13.

I called the vendor, Three Kings Travel and Tours, mid March to have our trip reserved. Or rather, I tried to call them. The landline number they posted in the vouchers are unavailable. The cellphone number they gave for Mr Thomas Terodillo had me listening to Avril Lavigne's damning me and wishing I were there to no avail. Yes, that's his ring-back tune or whatever it's called.

I got scared. Was I just scammed?

So I contacted Ensogo and complained that the contact numbers they gave for the deal were all unavailable. Thankfully, they gave me new numbers for Three Kings Travel and Tours and I called them up immediately. The numbers worked this time. Unfortunately, the dates we wanted were unavailable already due to the expectedly busy election weekend.

I reported the sad news, but my friend insisted and persisted that we will go to Boracay on those dates. 

March 22, 2013. We called Three Kings Travel and Tours again and my friend sweet-talked his way to confirmation:

April 8, 2013. Almost one month before our confirmed departure. I called up Three Kings Travel and Tours again to follow up on our reservation. She said that our hotel reservation is already ok but the plane tickets are still being processed and that we should expect an update from them a month before our departure. I pointed out that that's just 3 days away. She replied, "A, ganun na nga po, Sir". 

After the call, they sent me a reservation form to fill up. How could they have confirmed our hotel accommodation and process our plane tickets if I still had to fill up a reservation form? In any case, I sent the accomplished form back immediately:


April 18, 2013. Less than a month before our departure. No news from Three Kings Travel and Tours. I called them up to follow up our reservation. A girl picked up the phone and told me that she'll call back once she gets my reservation info. She did call back after an hour. 

"Sir, the travel dates you picked are not available. I suggest you pick a weekend in June." 

I was shocked! "Miss, we had those dates reserved and confirmed by your agency almost a month ago!" 

She replied, "Sir, wala pong nagconfirm sa min ng dates na yun." 

"I'll send you an email with the confirmation of those dates."

With an unmistakable air of haughtiness, she replied "Sige, Sir". It's as if she wanted to say "Tignan natin kung may mapakita ka."

So I immediately forwarded to her the confirmation email from March 22.


She called back after an hour.

"Okay, Sir, confirmed na po yung May 11 to 13. To follow na lang po yung eTickets nyo."

Now choose from one of the following:

A. "Wala po kasi sina Sir Von at Sir Tom at sa xxx pa balik nila."
B. "Naka sick leave po si Sir Tom"
C. "Nasa meeting po si Sir Tom"


Mix and match those items and you have an idea what they've been telling us every time we call them.

May 3, 2013. Friday. One week before we leave. I called Three Kings Travel and Tours again to follow up on the friggin tickets which they've been promising to send us for almost a month at this point. A guy answered.

"Sorry Sir, wala kasi si Sir Tom. Siya lang kasi ang pwede maghandle ng mga plane tickets for the Boracay package. Down po kasi yung system ng xxx Airways kaya hindi kami makabook ng maayos. Kausap nga po ni Sir Tom ngayon ang xxx about our bookings sa kanila kasi nawala nga lahat nung previous bookings namin. I'll leave a note na lang on his desk to follow up on your reservation"

"So sa Monday pa to maasikaso? Wala kayong pasok sa weekends di ba?" I so wanted to add " What the hell do I care about other people's tickets? I called for MY tickets, dammit!"

"Yes, Sir, ganun na nga."

"E less than one week na lang yun before our flight!"

"Kaya nga Sir we'll work on weekends nga just to fix all the previous bookings na nawala namin pati yung sa case nyo na malapit na ang alis."

"E eto na ang last weekend before our flight. Kala ko wala kayo this weekend?"

"Kaya nga, Sir, iwan na lang ako ng note sa desk ni Sir Tom para maasikaso nya kagad kayo"

Friendly note: galingan nyo naman pagsisinungaling niyo.

May 6, 2013. Monday. I called Three Kings Travel and Tours once again to follow up. Again, Sir Tom is still unavailable but they're working on it and the tickets should be sent to my email on Thursday, lunch time.

May 9, 2013. Thursday. Needless to say, the tickets were still not in my inbox after lunch. I gave Three Kings Travel and Tours a call around 1. They asked me to call by 3. I called around 330. They asked me to expect the tickets by 5. Past 5, the tickets were still nowhere to be seen, I called their office, and nobody was answering already because they were already closed.

May 10, 2013. Friday. My friend took up the calling duties. Through a lot of effort, they finally, FINALLY, sent us our tickets and vouchers around noon:




YOUR TICKET GOING BACK TO MANILA IS TO FOLLOW. WHAT THE HELL!?!?!

Oh, and then they called us after sending the ticket, asking us to do a deposit for our booking fees. WHAT THE HELL!?!?!

My friend got upset, understandably, and replied along the lines of "Isaksak niyo na lang sa baga niyo!"

Around 130, as I was about to call Three Kings Travel and Tours once again, they called me up.

"Sir, itutuloy niyo pa po ba?" - at nageexpect ka?

"Ano na bang status ng mga tickets and reservations?"

"Yun nga Sir, you have to pay P450 per person for booking fees and deposit nyo na lang sa bank."

I lost my cool at this point. "Late niyo na nga binigay ang ticket tapos ngayon niyo lang sasabihin sa min na may kailangan pa kami bayaran? Paano namin aasikasuhin yan e hapon na?"

The guy on the line gave the phone to another guy. One's Tom, the other's Von. I don't know which is which and I don't care.

He explained again about the booking fee. I again answered in a heated manner.

He replied "Sir, wag kayong sumigaw!"

E gago ka pala e! Kung ginagawa niyo ng matino ang trabaho niyo, hindi kita sisigawan! How I wish I said that at that moment.

He, however, tried to appease me, and told me that instead of paying our booking fees, we'll just shoulder the cost of one of the transfers. I agreed to finally end that issue.

But how about the return tickets? He told me to expect the tickets and call by 8pm since they'll still be in the office by then. Then he made it 6pm when whoever he asked scoffed at the idea of them staying until 8 in the office.

6 pm came and of course, there were no tickets. There was also nobody answering the phone in Three Kings Travel and Tours by then. 

I called Tom Terodillo's mobile phone, got damned by Avril again, and he wasn't answering as usual. My friend got hold of him and he said he sent the tickets 45 minutes ago, and he'll check what the problem is when he gets access to a PC, and he was just stuck waiting for a cab. It was a rainy Friday evening, understandable.

What wasn't understandable was that by 9pm, he turned off his phone again to avoid our calls.

My friend bombarded his number with tons of angry SMSs. And wow, he replied:


Ang kapal no?

We were ready to give up on our Boracay trip and getting ready to plan our next legal moves at this point.

May 11, 2013. Saturday. Our supposed departure date. I checked my email and found this:



Sent 11:59PM. Pal Express sent him the tickets 11:44 PM. The 45 minutes before 6 PM? A huge lie.

I checked the tickets and it explicitly said that we have to surrender the credit card and ID of the person who booked our tickets. I sent him an email and an SMS regarding this, but no replies. Fortunately, we found out that it wasn't needed. 

Oh and the return tickets were for the 1045PM flight. Ang galing no?

We were able to get to Boracay, with a little mix up in the transfers ( Jerome Estroblahblah that is a group of 6), and got our room. The hotel by the way (Villa Romero) was good and the people were very nice. The receptionist even shared our frustrations with Three Kings Travel and Tours. Apparently, they've been sending people to their hotel with no advanced announcements and some guests got angry in the process before.

I wish it ended there, but no.

When we got to the hotel, I asked about the breakfast. As you remember, the package included free daily breakfast and a dinner buffet. The receptionist said that it wasn't included in our service voucher:

She showed me vouchers they received from past guests. In the Inclusions part, Daily breakfast and Dinner buffet was included.

She called their contact to follow up on our voucher. The contact won't give her Three Kings Travel and Tours' number. So I gave Thomas Terodillo's number for her to contact.

When we woke up, we were told that she was able to contact Thomas Terodillo, and that the daily breakfast was included, BUT NOT THE DINNER BUFFET. He explicitly said that.

At that point, I was so fed up with Three Kings Travel and Tours that I didn't care anymore.

P.S. There was another group of 4 that availed of the package as well. And they were also angry with how Three Kings Travel and Tours handled them.

To everyone, yes I'm ranting. However, it has now been my mission to WARN everyone about Three Kings Travel and Tours. They have been incompetent and unprofessional. They are liars and thieves. Please, for your sanity NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS. I also implore you to spread the word and WARN YOUR LOVED ONES ABOUT THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS. 

These people do not have a place in our country's Tourism industry. They are imparting a disservice, instead of service. There's was nothing fun at all with our experience dealing with them.

Hopefully, if enough people spread this story around, when anyone Googles Three Kings Travel and Tours, this blog post will be the top search result and warn them who they will be dealing with.

  3. i know them , and yes they have lapses pero once you get to know them, they are the BEST! I avail their ILOCOS TOUR , and it was FUNTASTIC, I went to BORACAY and stayed at ECLIPSED and my EXPERIENCE was GREAT! maybe your one of the RUDE online BUYER na mahilig sa PROMO tapos gusto VIP TREATMENT! come on, be realistic MEN! you get what you PAID FOR di ba?

      me and my BF went to their office and all of them are accommodating , they will even offer you a drink,( coffee, soda or Ice tea, FYI its SOLA).
      after 30 Minutes of waiting, Von called me and He gave to me our Ticket to Kalibo, and Service Voucher, actually I was shocked when I saw the cost of our ticket its more than what we paid for the voucher, so I asked Von what happen , He answered me that due to merging of ZESTAIR and AIR ASIA, nag kaproblem sila sa BOOKING, para matuloy lang kami kahit mas mataas ang ticket kailangan parin daw nila iprovide yun dahil yun ang commitment nila sa clients,
      and I find it WOW, IMAGINE they are willing magpaluge para lng maiserve yung voucher ng ENSOGO! which is hindi gagawin ng ibang agency yun

  7. There is no excuse for rude treatment, period.

    In this situation, both buyer and provider were rude. And as much as I would want to side with Three Kings on this, I cannot.

    Your problem may have come up as a result of forcing the travel company to book on dates they previously said were unavailable.

    Do you realize how much of a pain in the ass that is?

    Their problem was that they did not stand firm on the fact that the dates were unavailable. Then responded to rudeness with more rudeness.

    Like the above poster said, you get what you pay for. You pay for a budget vacation, don't expect five star treatment.

    for 3 Kings, giving up your integrity, no matter how badly a client treats you is not the way to go.

      Now imagine it's your lunch. You went to Jollibee because you're craving for their hamburger so you ordered the hamburger value meal. The cashier told you it was unavailable. You pleaded and asked her to check again. She got back to you and confirmed that she can give you one. You paid for it and she gave you one of those plastic numbers because they're still cooking and told you it will be served in 10 minutes.

      Ten minutes passed and your order has not arrived yet. You followed up, and they told you wait for another ten minutes. You wait for another ten minutes, you follow up again and asks you to wait for another ten minutes. Repeatedly.


      Ten minutes before 1. Your lunch break is about to end. How would you feel at this point?

      They give you the burger. You asked where the fries and the drinks are. To follow, and they told you in a rude manner. How would you feel at this point?

      They give you the fries 1 minute before 1 PM. You asked for the drinks, and they just won't give it to you.

      1. We were only rude when it was two days before our departure and we haven't received any NEWS about our reservations yet.

      2. If they can't 100% commit to their promises, then they shouldn't have committed at all.

      3. Rude behavior in the service industry they belong to is a huge NO-NO. If my boss ever finds out I threatened a client in any manner, I'm fired.

The fact that they delivered the tickets that late even without the attitude is already unacceptable. And didn't you see the text message where he threatened them? These people should not get away with that kind of conduct and customer service. Wala kasing nangyayaring sa reklamo ng mga tao dito satin so people like them think that they can alway get away with their substandard, low quality and extremely unprofessional way of conducting business. Kung sa isang first world country ito nangyari, this is already a law suit.

Pag tumawag ka nga sa Ensogo at sinabi mo na mag follow up lang regarding Boracay Deal ang sasabihin nila agad sayo e "yung sa 3 kings po ba?" Sino ngayon ang may problema?

  11. It doesnt matter whether youre on a budget or high-end vacation trip. The point is, this THREE KINGS TRAVEL and TOURS is so UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY RUDE.
    Yes! We are one of those 6 scheduled on that trip. Napaka bastos sobra ang travel agency na ito! Lalo na tong Thomas 'Thom' Terodillo na to! Napaka bastos at sinungaling! Ano ba naman ang mag response on time na sinasabing tatawag ng 11am, 3pm at 5pm?!? Hello! Natapos na ang araw ni isang tawag or reply sa text wala! Tapos kung mag comment ka sa fb nila, binubura nila-ibig sabihin totoo lahat ang mga bad comments about this THREE KINGS TRAVEL and TOURS!
    Asan ang sense of urgency nyo?!?
    Napakalaking kahihiyan kayo sa tourism industry ng bansa natin!!!

THOM and He Said , your so rude , and He even told me na sisirain mo with all your MIGHT, He even explained to you daw that their having a hard time to booked your flight dahil sa BUY OUT ng air asia sa ZESTAIR, He even told you na He will send the ticket within the night , kaso masyado ka daw BASTOS at MAANGAS! kaya sinabihan ka nya GO AHEAD siraan mo kami lets see what you can do, and despite of all the BAD WORDS na sinabi mo sa KANYA we was able to send you the ticket that night, and na pick up nmn daw kayo , and as indicated to your Voucher wala daw BREAKFAST yun , pero dahil pati receptionist ng HOTEL TINATALAKAN nyo, PINAGBIGYAN na lng kayo ng BREAKFAST charge to 3Kings,
    PAYO lang kapatid, promo yung BINILI at sana maintindihan natin yung situations nila nagkaproblem sa BOOKINGS , instead of awayin why not try to understand them , di ba naka alis ka naman? at di ba nag sawa ka sa kakapicture? im sure kung may FB acct. ka tadtad yung ng picture sa BORACAY, how can you say na it was HELLISH kung ang totoo ay naenjoy mo din nmn tlg,

    Yung voucher na binili namin klarong klaro na may breakfast at dinner buffet. May screenshot pa ako for reference. Kami pa magpapasalamat na meron kaming breakfast? Come on. Kahit promo pa yun, kung ano binili mo, dapat makuha mo. Kung bumili ka ng value meal sa Jollibee at di ka binigyan ng drinks, hindi ka ba magrereklamo?

    Bahala na ang Department of Tourism sa inyo.

Sobra namang ma detalye pero mali mali naman ang mga nakuhang informasyon! I doubt isa ka rin sa mga tauhan ng pseudo travel agency na ito! Kunwari tumwag bwahaha!   21. After i researched the profile of 3 kings and feedback from reliable sources, this agebcy cant be trusted at all. We are one of the events organizers based in bacolod with branches in manila, cebu, davao, palawan and bohol. We have considered 3 kings as one of our options as a partner to book itineraries to our customers, saddened to this incident we came acrossed. Thank you blogger and sure thing this will spread to the organizers community in out main office and branches. Let's all be vigilant and particular with te services offered to us. Now posting it in twitter and our fanpage!!!!

  23. Experienced the same thing with Three Kings Travel and Tours. They promised us morning flights but booked us for a late afternoon flight. We ended up not using our voucher & tickets and asked for a refund instead. They said they can give us a refund but they'll deduct the charge for plane tickets. We didn't agree to that of course and demanded 100% refund. Until now, we haven't received anything. We're filing a formal complaint at DTI very soon.

  25. Had the same experience with 3kings travel and tours... Before ko i-purchase yung voucher nagpa pre book muna ako sa kanila para masiguro yung date. Binigay nila sa amin is may 25-27. kahit sobrang ang tagal pa dahil march 15 ko binili yung voucher e ok lang... they promised us na 2weeks before e ipapadala nila yung tickets. A month before the flight e tumawag ulit ako for follow up. Ang sabi sakin ni Von e hindi daw pwede yung date na yun? How come db? Inuurong nila kami ng june. 2weeks before wla pa din akong natatanggap a ticket. A week after nakausap ko si CD... SAbi yun daw ang may ari ng 3kings.. Nag promise xa ng tuesday (may 21) ipapadala na daw yung ticket (imagine mahinahon pa din kami nkikipag usap nun khit n sa 25 na ung suppose to be alis namin)... Imagine yung frustration na nraramdman nmin nun dahil anong date na. We even seek for ensogo's help dahil sa merchant nila ito... SA kaswertehan naman po e Hindi kami nkaalis. Kapag tumwag ka sa 3kings ang sasabihin lang e utos ng management na sa ensogo na lang tumawag. Imagine kung sino man kayong nagsasabi ng thumbs up sa 3kings na yan..Ensogo na ang nag shoulder ng kakulangan nila. Kung okay sila ndi sila maba-ban sa ensogo.. and hindi nila pdeng ikatwiran n ngkaproblema sa zest air dahil inacquire na ng air asia.. they have 2mos to book us.. enough time pra mainform kami ng maaga kung may problema man... this company even blocked me from posting to their FB account.. na ang tanging pinopost ko lang naman e yung pag follow up ko sa tickets nila... I even talked to others who have bought the same deal and all of them are not recommending this company.. Ang lakas ng loob nyo mag offer ng deal na hindi nyo naman kya iaccomodate.

    2. actually pinu-pursue namin ang ensogo na ayusin to dahil kung tutuusin e may fault din sila dito. HIndi nila siniguro yung capacity ng 3kings bago nila ini-accept as merchant. try searching for their facebook account now at di mo na makikita. Talagang pinapatunayan lang nila na wala silang kwenta.

  26. try calling ensogo para malaman nyo na tinatransfer na nila ang transaction ng 3kings sa ibang travel agency. sana maexperience nyo din naexperience namin... sadyang bastos lang silang kausap. dahil in the first place hindi ako naging rude sa pakikipagusap sa knila. kami p nga ang nkikiusap dahil ayoko makipagtalo sa kanila dahil tingin ko pag nkipagtalo ako mas lalong di maaayos. pero ganun pa din kinalabasan.

  28. oh no! kinakabahan na ako sa travel namin this comming weekend. Nakabili din ako ng package nila sa Ensogo nung Feb 7. Ganun din experience ko, di sinasagot calls & emails ko pati private messages ko sa FB nila. Super kinabahan na ako that time kasi nga bakit di nila ako sinasagot. Minsan nagreply sa emailna tatapusin lang daw nila ad sa ensogo. so i waited na matapos yung promo deal nila sa ensogo tsaka ako ule nag-follow up. Ganun pa din no replies sa emails, texts & calls. Finally after 1 month, nagreply na din sya and he said pwede ko na daw pick up yung vouchers namin. So, ayun i felt good na kasi i have the vouchers on hand. He adked to pay 900 pa for other fees daw pagdating sa boracay. So, ayun nagdeposit naman ako sa account nya. When I texted him that I already deposited 900 pesos on his account, wala sya reply. Now, plan ko tlaga is to call him again to confirm our travel week before ng travel dates namin which is June 1-3, 2013. Kahapon, kinokontak ko na sya, ayun di nya sinasagot calls ko & palagi reply I'll call you later. Dun naman sa isa pa nyang number ang sagot naman nasa bank. I tried to reach him many times yesterday, I even used other numbers baka sakali sagutin nya pero kinakansel lang nya. So, dahil naiinis na ako at di na ako makapag-work dahil dito. I decided to check our flight with Zest Air and lage dinadivert yung site sa AIr Asia na. Kinabahan na ako lalo. So, i tried to mock book sa Air Asia, nakita ko na wala na dun yung time ng flight na nakalagay sa e-ticket namin from 3Kings pero yung flight number same pa din. dahil wala naman ako makuhang sagot sa 3Kings, naginquire na lang ako sa AirAsia pero pinasa din nila ako sa Zest Air kasi di pa daw nila hawak yung mga na-booked before May 9. Thank God may nakausap naman ako sa Zest Air at meron naman kami booking tlga sa Bora this weekend. Pinadalhan na lang nila ako ng bagong e-ticket. So sa point na to nasabi ko na sa sarili ko na makakarating naman ako ng bora. Pero di ba dapat si 3kings ang nag-update ng ticket namin? Kung di pa ako nag-mock book di ko pa malalaman na iba na pala flight sched namin. Now may next problem, kung talaga bang naka-book kami sa Eclipse. Since di nga ako sinasagot ng 3Kings, I decided to call directly na ang Eclipse Resort to check if we're already booked in their hotel. Nakausap ko si Ms. Marisa Filarmeo,and she said wala na daw sila contract with 3kings. Ang kausapin ko na lang daw ay si Thomas. So eto nanaman, nagttry ako maghanap ng iba pang info over ther net na pwede ko ma-contact like yung ABF travel & tours na dapat magpipick up sa amin sa Kalibo papuntang Hotel pero wala ako makita. Kasi gusto ko din ma-confirm kung expected nila kami this weekend. Haaaaysssss, so ngayon tinatry ko ule tawagan si Thomas dahil nga sa nalaman ko sa Eclipse, pero ayun cannot be reached na ang mobile phones nya. So, I started again browsing the net to find info about this travel agency and I saw your post. Before kasi ako nag-book sa ensogo nung Feb. sinubukan ko na maghanap ng reviews sa 3Kings kung ok sila pero wala naman ako makita kaya tinuloy ko pa din. Haaayyys I don't know what to do na.

      As for the resort, sa Villa Romero kami, although May Eclipse din na nakalagay sa voucher namin. Try to contact them baka dun kayo binook. Pero you really should get your updates from the agency. Tumawag ka sa office landline nila during office hours and huwag ka pumayag mababa yung phone until you get what you need from them, payo lang.

Madami na daw dumating sa kanila na nila tinanggap or kung tinaggap man e nagbyad na lng sila. 100k daw utang ni Thomas sa Eclipse kya di na sila tumatanggap ng nkabook sa 3kings kc nga di nagbbyad. Ms. marissa of Eclipse is planning to go to DTI and she's trying to look for a contact para ma-TV na itong si Thomas dahil sa dami nyang niloko. Naaawa din kc sya sa mga naloko nya.Problema ko ngayon ay kung mkukuha ko pa binayad namin sa kanya.:-(

Hi I just wanted to share my experience with 3Kings Last weekend, we joined their Ilocos Tour Last week and I think ok naman sila, as a proof that I'm not one of them , pls check the picture that they posted on their FB page were group of 18 person and lahat naman ng sakay ng bus that time nag enjoy talaga sa company nila, Sir Thomas is funny Guy , magaling ang sense of humor nya and very accommodating sila, actually may isang guest pa nga dun na Client ng ibang agency na nag papasa lang din ng client sakinila na galit sa 3Kings dahil nirefund daw ng 3Kings yung payment nila for Boracay Voucher na binili sa ensogo,I heard her saying na If I know na kayo lang din ang mag totour samin tonight Ipaparefund ko na lang to, then ayun tumuloy pa din sila and after the tour I think nag enjoy naman sila , ayun opinion ko lng po ito sana wag kayong magalit Thanks

I accidentally saw this blog while browsing the net, I'm searching 3King's website and FB Page, a friend of mine , recommend this agency to me, they told me that the person behind this company is cool and accommodating, asp my friend , they bought a deal from ensogo ( Ilocos Tour) and everything went smooth daw from reservation up to the tour it self, I kinda worried right if i'm going to call them pa ba or not, im not sure who's telling the truth , which is which?
    If ever I will try to booked my tour with them, I'm not sure if I will enjoy it or not, Mah Gulay what will I do?

    2. Hi first anon. I've been thinking about it ever since someone posted a comment that something or someone related to me was gay. On one hand, it will keep the comments free from their nonsense. On the other hand, other complaints can still be aired, the agency gets to dig their own grave a little deeper, and Google will love my blog post even more. I'll probably get to that point sooner or later, but I'm going to keep it open for now.

  35. Hi. I'm having the same problem. I purchased the voucher last April, I even called Three Kings to confirm my preferred dates. I should have trusted my instinct 'cause I felt something's not good when I had a hard time contacting their numbers. I always get a busy tone. Or the person on the other line keeps telling me that the signal's not good. I was really annoyed 'cause I felt it was my fault pa. They told me that their location has a weak signal. And I was using a cellphone to contact their landline, sobrang gastos lang and hassle. But anyways, I went ahead and purchased the voucher when they confirmed that my preferred dates are available. I immediately sent them the voucher so they can book it already, but I didn't receive any feedback until I followed up a number of times.

    They then sent me a reservation form which I immediately filled out. Again, I didn't get any feedback or confirmation of receipt. I had to follow up again. Every time I call the reception, they tell me that they will call me back once Thomas or Von are in the office. But they never did. When I finally got lucky, I was able to talk to them and they promised that they will send the details at least two weeks before our scheduled trip. So I eased up on them and just waited for their update.

    Two weeks before the trip, I haven't received any detail yet so I called them up. And I encountered the same bad customer (dis) service. They said that they encountered an internal problem, whatever that is, and told me that Ensogo will be the one to handle our reservations.

    I was trying to keep my cool the whole time. But I was really annoyed and I was having a hard time concentrating on my work. I used to work in the customer service industry, and they really are a disgrace to the industry.

    Good thing that the Ensogo representative was nicer. I'm now processing our travel with him, and he said that we will be transferred to a different agency. By the way, before I purchased the deal, I tried searching the net for any post about Three Kings but there was none. So I went ahead with the purchase. Hay. I hope we still get to travel. Sayang ang money. And sobrang stressful lang. And its supposed to be vacation. :|

Think of it this way: at least Ensogo seems to have an infinitely better service than Three Kings Travel and Tours, and one of the commenters above actually had their vacation push through thanks to Ensogo. Ensogo said the new travel agency that was supposed to handle our reservation could no longer accomodate us. Our payment has already been refunded. So I guess, okay na rin. I'm not sure though if I will still purchase from Ensogo.

  39. I noticed a pattern on how this THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS handle their clients.

    Noticed that after you purchased the voucher lets says from Ensogo (everything is already charged to your credit card and Ensogo will pay this THREE KINGS TRAVEL and TOURS after youve made the purchase), they will let you choose your preferred date of travel, then they would agree and tell you its ok and will tell you they will get back on you a month to two weeks before your scheduled trip. After that, they will tell thats its no longer available for that agreed date and again they call or email you back again. Then like a week before your scheduled trip, they will be hard to contact again either through email, landline or through the cell numbers of these Von or Thomas Terodillo (by the way, it has a ringback tone of Avril Lavigne's Wish you were here..."Damn, Damn, Damn..." makes you think twice if this is really a business number). If youre lucky to talk to them, they will tell you that this Thomas Terodillo is out of town, or out of the office...all the alibis you can think...name it THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS has it! Then, it will reach the point of you giving up makes you wanna rant on this THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS!

    Now, tell me are the complaints of your clients THREE KINGS TRAVEL AND TOURS valid or not?

    Such an embarrassment in the tourism industry of this country!

  41. Thank you sa blog post mo na to. Na-experience din namin ang tour nila last march 2013 (Ilocos Tour) GRABE talaga! Yung customer pa talaga ang nagmamakaawa. Hinde ko maiisip kung paano nila natitiis yung complaints ng mga customer nila ng harap-harapan. Sabi nga nung tour guide namin eh sanay na sila sa complaints so ibig sabihin wala talaga silang ginagawa to improve their service. That was my first time to avail a package tour ng isang agency and now napapaisip na ako na mag DIY na lang haist naakatrauma lang, to think na March pa to nangyari hanggang ngayun naalala ko pa rin.

You are right, not only are they staining their name because of what they are doing, they are also bringing down the tourism industry in our country. Let's just hope that other agencies are not as stressful to deal with.

    I had a meeting with the Travel Director of Ensogo. He said 3Kings went bankrupt.
    Naturally, Ensogo had to shoulder the refund and stuff.

I've been their clients since last yr. sa kanila nga lang ako nag tiwala eh , lahat ng deal nila direct ang transactions ko kay Thom, actually mas risky nga yung ginawa ko kase I made a direct deposit sa acct nila and never pa nmn ako naka experience ng hindi maganda sa kanila! I even tried to call Thom ng gabi and infairness sumasagot sya ng PHONE nya kahit gabi! and this kind of service nag hindi ko na experience sa iba , if ever totoo nga na sarado na sila as a SATISFIED CUSTOMER nahihinayang ako ! and I think iilan lang dito ang totoong comments the is FAKE na gawa lang din siguro ng AUTHOR nito!

  49. never thought na hanggang ngayon e marami pa ring nagde-defend sa 3kings. Lucky for those na hindi na-experience yung hassle at stress sa pakikipag deal sa agency na to. Pero wag nyo na masyadong ipagtanggol yung favorite travel agency nyo, Nag #1 na tuloy tong blog na to.

    I experienced the same thing from 3Kings. I purchased an El Nido package from Ensogo last January 2013 for my parents, to travel in May 2013. I started communicating with them in February. 5 days before the flight, they referred us back to Ensogo because they cannot accommodate my parents' trip! Good thing Ensogo has other agencies that accommodated my parents.
